The day was a great success supported by many of the members. The weather was good, the catering was great, and the atmosphere brilliant.

1st place: I Heald/A Rowley 44points (back nine 22)
2nd place : S Greenwood/D Clark 44 points ( back nine 21)
3rd place: B Cocker/J Hall 43 points

The winners of the Mixed Winter League were Richard Bedford & Greta Henderson, the runners up were Graham & Lorraine Whipp. Even though the weather wasn't great 60% of the matches were played. Thanks to Sue Hirons & Phil Gorse for organising the event

With glorious weather and fantastic scores, and good humour all round, the day was a great success. Drink and good food flowed all day. A very successful day. It also came to light that we have three generations in the Grace family playing on the same day.

What a great day everyone had at the Lady Captain’s day, the golf was great followed by an excellent evening buffet and presentation. A good laugh enjoyed by all.
