Catering

The Ravine welcomes you.

We are Ghyll Golf Club's catering operation.

Shane is the Ravine’s general manager and is the main point of contact for any enquires for events, catering and bar. Shane has just over 10 years experience in the hospitality sector and has led his own large team for a well-known restaurant chain. Shane enjoys putting his all in to any and every challenge.

Alongside Shane is Lucy the Ravines BOH leader. Before the Ravine Lucy was a senior chef in her last job role, running her own team and kitchen. Lucy is bubbly and friendly and loves meeting new customers especially if they happen to bring along their four legged friends.

The Ravine team also has few part time team members.

We also have Steph, Rachel and Rubee adding to the ravine team, these three have an amazing and friendly attitude.


The Ravine is open five days a week.

Closed Mondays and Wednesdays.

The Ravine will be open bank holiday Mondays for drinks only.

Greens Staff

We have a small team who do a great job of keeping our beautiful course in good condition year round.

Steve Mortimer is chair of the Greens Committee

David Pinder has been a greenkeeper for 23 years and has worked at Ghyll Golf Club for 13 years.

Matthew Stevenson has been an apprentice from Myerscough College and started at Ghyll in 2022.
