Hole 1 - Hill Top

This is a tough opening par 3, at 188 Yards off the white competition tee it plays considerably longer so ensure you take an extra club.  Beware of the deep greenside bunker on the left.
Hole 2 - The Graveyard

The first of our par 5's, as you stand on the tee looking down the rolling fairway pick a line towards the left side as your ball will gather to the right. Your 2nd shot is blind with water on the right so walk to the top of the hill to pick your landing area. The green is heavily guarded with 3 greenside bunkers.
Hole 3 - The Barn

Not the longest par 4 on the course but one of the best! The longer your tee shot the narrower the fairway gets with three fairway bunkers down the left and one down the right side. Your approach shot will need to be accurate to the Mackenzie green as there is a pond strategically placed that cuts in to the left side of the green.
Hole 4 - County Brook

Another superb par 3! A narrow approach to the green is complimented with a greenside bunker to the left and the county brook running all the way down the right side, cutting in to the right side of the green making club selection critical.
Hole 5 - St. Mary-le-Ghyll

Off the white tee this hole is a long par 4 with a prevailing left to right wind. The fairway is straight and narrow leading up to a long green which slopes right to left.  Once at the green take a look to your left and you will see why the hole gets its name.
Hole 6 - Pinhaw

This long par 4 is a great hole with 3 fairway bunkers coming in to play off the tee. A nice straight drive will leave you with an approach shot to a heavily guarded green with 4 bunkers, one which can’t be seen to the right side. Aim left as everything runs to the right.
Hole 7 - Monks Retreat

One of the longest par 5's in Yorkshire! Your tee shot will run from right to left leaving you a shot to the top of the hill before the fairway drops down to a large green surrounded by 3 bunkers. A good 3 shot par 5 for anyone!
Hole 8 - The Mast

This is a long par 3 straight up the hill.  A good tee shot to a small greens leaves you with a tricky putt on a left to right sloping green.
Hole 9 - Ingleborough

On a clear day the famous Ingleborough hill can be seen in the distance, If seen this is the perfect line towards the green. As you walk down the fairway you will find 2 fairway bunkers with a downhill iron shot to a flat green. Try and keep to the right side as all shots bounce to the left.
